How is a reusable silicone earplug different from a disposable PU foam earplug?
Silicone earplugs are washable and designed for repeated use over weeks or months, while PU foam earplugs are intended to be discarded after limited use. Silicone plugs insert directly at full size (no roll-down/wait step) but their fixed flange shape doesn't self-conform to the ear canal the way foam does.
Can these be cleaned and reused indefinitely?
They're designed for repeated cleaning and reuse, but like any PPE they should be inspected regularly and replaced if the material hardens, tears, or the seal degrades. We don't have a manufacturer-specified maximum reuse count — ask us to confirm if your buyer's program requires one.
