What does 'filtered' mean for a music earplug, versus a regular earplug?
Filtered designs are engineered to reduce volume more evenly across frequencies so music and speech stay intelligible, rather than just blocking sound like a standard foam or silicone earplug. We haven't independently tested this frequency-response claim — it's the manufacturer's positioning for this product family.
Why don't all 9 models have an NRR or SNR rating?
Only EC-3001, EC-3001A, EC-3002, and EC-3003 show a tested rating in the source catalog page we sourced this from.
